November 2023 will see the dawn of a new era in high end Fiji cruise experiences with the arrival of luxury expedition small ship MS Caledonian Sky. Captain Cook Cruises will be bidding farewell to its loyal and loved Reef Endeavour after many years cruising the remote and not so remote islands of Fiji.

Caledonian Sky is tailor made for the adventurous sophisticated traveller offering spacious boutique comfort with a capacity of only 114 passengers across 57 ocean view suites.

Her 10 zodiacs and 70 crew will be at the ready to create unforgettable, uniquely Fijian cruise experiences. The planned three to 14-night voyages will include additional remote itineraries with expeditions to otherwise inaccessible islands in the Lau group, as well as journeys to Tonga and Samoa.

The 57 well designed suites with ocean views are arranged over four decks, with all suites featuring a sitting room area and some with private balconies.

Each suite affords considerable comfort with en-suite bathrooms featuring a country style wash basin, hot towel rack and vanity unit with sink and walk-in shower and/or bath tub.

The suites have walk-in or spacious wardrobes, a dressing table with large mirror and stool or desk, mini-fridge, flat screen television, telephone, programmable electronic safe, hairdryer, assorted toiletries, air-conditioning and heating, bottled water, dressing gowns and slippers.

Regardless of which itinerary you choose, Captain Cook Cruises packages include all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner); an expedition team of marine biologists, cultural experts and Ocean Ambassador program.

Guests can choose from three, four, seven, 11 and 14-night cruises. If you want to explore Fiji, the Caledonia Sky can take you to the Yasawas or Mamunuca islands, or a little further afield to the Lau group.

For inter-Pacific cruising, choose a voyage from Fiji to Samoa and or Tonga return.

Captain Cook Cruises’ team is super excited about the new era in cruising from Fiji and whilst the fleet has been upgraded, the same fantastic service, delicious food, great entertainment, amazing diving and snorkelling and unforgettable experiences await.
