F lying isn’t always fun, especially if you’re traveling with kids, late at night or early in the morning. Often it’s not the flight itself, but the airport experience that can be stressful.

From queues at check-in, security screening, immigration and being harassed by duty free sales people, by the time you board, you’ve had enough.

Fiji Airways has won accolade after accolade this year for their on-board service. Everything from their cabin crew to their inflight entertainment has drawn praise.

What is surely next to win them even more international success is their lounge at Nadi airport.

The Premier lounge was renovated a couple of years ago and truly does rival some of the bigger airline lounges in the world.

With spacious couches, a dining room, showers, fantastic meal selection and even a sound proof kids area, the team really did think of everything.

The 200-seat lounge offers a chef-inspired menu, buffet stations, barista coffee and full bar, Fiji bean cart and separate dining area with tables and chairs.

There are toilets, showers, towels, hair dryer, premium Pure Fiji shower amenities and wheelchair accessible facilities.

On arrival at the Lounge, if you want a shower, simply ask the staff to book a time during busy periods and you’ll be given a buzzer when the showers are available.

The Premier Lounge is also a great place to finish off work or catch up on social media with Wi-Fi, a business centre, printing facilities and power points across lounge spaces.

If you’re traveling with kids, the Lailai Land kids play centre has a qualified nanny on hand and children’s meals available upon request.

Fiji Airways Business Class passengers, Tabua Club, Tabua Plus members, Qantas Platinum and Gold members have access to the Premier Lounge.

Other airline partners traveling in Business Class also have access. Check online at www.fijiairways.com
